Now the time has come and I make my own soap 🙂 sustainable – nourishing – simply perfect … and a bit like before! No matter…whether for your hands, for showering, for the linen cupboard or for washing your hair…you could also clean up with it…some people even use it to brush their teeth (but I still have to try that out). Oh yeah…..great for travel, of course, because it’s not liquid and can therefore be carried in hand luggage. Read for yourself and let yourself be “infected”…
The main ingredient in my soap is always olive oil from my own trees. Olive oil is known to provide moisture and shine, it has a regenerating, anti-inflammatory and disinfecting effect, is effective against wrinkles and UV radiation (vitamin E) and supports the skin’s cell function.

Depending on the intended use, I add additional components – the table provides an overview; All soaps are saponified with sodium hydroxide (NaOH – caustic soda) and water::
| coconut-oil | provides moisture and protects against environmental influences; has an antibacterial/viral and anti-inflammatory effect |
| castor-oil | provides moisture, has an anti-aging effect and has a calming effect; for damaged and dry hair |
| almond-oil | provides moisture, has a calming effect and protects against UV rays, strengthens the skin’s protective acid mantle; stimulates the metabolism of the hair root |
| lojoba-oil | provides moisture to the skin; has an antibacterial effect; against dandruff and dry (head) skin |
| linseed-oil | provides elasticity, shine, moisture and suppleness to skin and hair; has an anti-inflammatory effect; for dry skin; against hair loss and dandruff |
| laurel-oil | ensures a beautiful complexion and better blood circulation; has a revitalizing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and bacterial, antifungal and disinfectant effect |
| rice(germ)-oil | as optimal care for sensitive, irritated and damaged skin; UVA+UVB absorbing (sun protection); has an anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and skin-soothing effect; a very light oil (absorbs quickly) |
| mango-/ shea-/ cocoa-butter | ensures the regeneration, care and healing of skin and hair; for volume and shine of the hair; strengthen cells; has an antioxidant, healing, cell-protecting effect and is highly moisturizing |
| essential oils | mostly organic high-quality essences so that the soap smells good 🙂 |
| St. John’s wort-, calendula-oil (sunflower or olive oil) | I let the respective flowers “extract” in the carrier oil so that the active ingredients are transferred into the oil |
| „foam“ + color | I use coconut oil emulsion as “foam” and add either soap coloring or food coloring |
The fat content of the soap in percent – i.e. the oil portion that has not been saponified and is therefore „responsible“ for the care – actually decides whether the soap is to be used and is of course to be understood as a recommendation:
| soap for cleaning | 00 – 01 % |
| soap fo shaving | 03 – 07 % |
| soap fo hands | 07 – 11 % |
| soap fo hair | 02 – 15 % |
| normal hair | 06 – 09 % |
| dry hair | 10 – 15 % |
| greasy hair | 02 – 05 % |
| soap for shower | 08 – 15 % |
| soap for face | 09 – 15 % |
…and if anyone wants to try it out for themselves, I offer a 3-hour-event „try it out by yourself“…
